    On May 4th, head coach of the women’s team Wolfgang Pichler met the personal coaches of the national team’s athletes. After the meeting the German coach commented on his communication with the personal coaches, talked about confidence in his work, shared his plans for the first training camp and the Champions League final in Munich.

    The RBU Executive Board’s members have heard suggestions of the Coaches and Expert Councils, made conclusions upon the past season and determined prospects for the next one. Biathlonrus.com publishes the key decisions of the Executive Board – to abolish the position of the national team’s head coach, appoint Lopukhov and Pichler as head coaches of the men’s and women’s teams, and confirm the lists of candidates for the next season.

    The mass-starts among men and women took place in Khanty-Mansiysk on March 18th. Anton Shipulin won Bronze in the men's mass-start, Dmitry Malyshko finished sixth. Belorussian Daria Domracheva celebrated a victory in the women's mass-start. Anna Bogaliy-Titovets was the best among Russian girls, finishing 13th.

    Russian Dmitry Malyshko finished fourth in the pursuit race at the world cup in Khanty-Mansiysk. Svetlana Sleptsova was the best among the Russian girls, finishing 17th. Martin Fourcade won the men's pursuit, Daria Domracheva — women's pursuit.

    Martin Fourcade and Magdalena Neuner won sprints at the world cup in Khanty-Mansiysk. Dmitry Malyshko was the best among the Russian men, finishing 11th. Ekaterina Glazyrina had the best performance in the women's team, finishing 18th. The sprints were the last races in the nation cups rating. Both Russian teams — women and — men became the winners of the Nation cup this season.

    Martin Fourcade and Tora Berger won mass-starts at the world championship in Ruhpolding. Olga Zaitseva placed sixth, but then was disqualified in the women's mass-start. Evgeny Garanichev was the best among Russian men, finishing ninth.

    The women's relay took place at the WCH in Ruhpolding. The German's team celebrated a victory in the race, France got Silver and Norway — Bronze. The Russian team finished seventh.

    The Russian team finished sixth in the men's relay at the WCH in Ruhpolding. The Norwegian team celebrated a victory, the French team won Silver and German team — Bronze. Anton Shipulin, Andrey Makoveev, Evgeny Garanichev and Dmitry Malyshko ran the race for the Russian team.

    The prettiest part of the biathlon elite forgot about the upcoming International Woman's Day and competed in the 15–km individual race. Norwegian Tora Berger won her first personal Gold of the world championships.     Russian Olga Zaitseva finished sixth in the individual race at the world championship in Ruhpolding. Svetlana Sleptsova placed seventh, Olga Vilukhina — eighth. Norwegian Tora Bergman celebrated the victory. Marie-Laure Brunet won Silver, Helena Ekholm — Bronze.

    Slovenian Jakov Fak won the individual race at the world championship in Ruhpolding. Simon Fourcade and Jaroslav Soukup won Silver and Bronze accordingly. Timofey Lapshin was the best among Russians finishing 14th.

    A biathlete of the Russian team Olga Vilukhina has won her first medal at the world championships and became a new hero of our Fans conference.
