    The December issue of the Biathlonworld magazine has a big interview with Olga Vilukhina. The Russian biathlete, according to the editors, became a discovery of the past season. The magazine could not include the whole interview on two pages, and Biathlonrus.com decided to correct this situation.     German Andreas Birnbacher shot clean and won the mass-start at the Biathlon World cup in Slovenian Pokljuka. Evgeny Ustyugov was the best among the Russians, finishing 7th. Norwegian Tora Berger celebrated the victory in the women's mass-start, with Olga Zaitseva finishing 4th.

    Unpredictable weather of Pokljuka on Saturday brought another surprise. It was raining the whole day, turning the track into slush, but it did not prevent Emil Hegle Svendsen and Miriam Gossner from winning the races. Evgeny Garanichev and Olga Vilukhina were the best in the Russian team.     Russian Evgeny Garanichev finished fourth in the pursuit race at the Biathlon World cup in Pokljuka. Emil Hegle Svendsen won the race. German Miriam Gossner won the women's pursuit race. Olga Vilukhina became the best in the Russian team, finishing 10th.

    Czech Gabriela Soukalova won the women's sprint at the Biathlon World cup in Pokljuka, Slovenia. German Miriam Gossner finished second, with Belorussian Nadezhda Skardino placind third. Soukalova and Skardino shot clean and showed their best results in carrier. Miriam Gossner missed twice and won her fourth podium at the World cups. Ekaterina Glazyrina was the best among the Russians, finishing 10th.

The Norwegian women's team got Gold, the Ukrainian team — Silver.
